Week 46 - May 1, 2023

Another week out here!  The weeks are all starting to feel the same lol.

This week was a huge step forward for me as a leader and being comfortable with all the changes.  I stopped trying to force myself to be someone I'm not and started just being me. I've definitely seen big changes in the way I am as a missionary, and it just goes to show that our personal experiences make us who we are.

This week we also had some difficulties in the work.  We had more people this week who decided they no longer want to keep going.  However, it's all a part of the process.  The Lord has time for each and every one.
Not a lot went down in the mission, but I want to leave a spiritual thought about perspective.  The way we approach things in our life and our attitude determines a lot.  A lot of the time we can get so caught up in the moment we forget to look at the big picture.  It's especially true when we go through tough times and lose hope; however, the one person that knows everything is Christ and he has an eternal perspective. Everything is all part of the process of returning to live with him again and our families.  Trusting him and his will is what will help us maintain our vision of why we're here on earth.
I love being out here and being a missionary!
Wish you all the best this week!
