Elder Copeland spoke in the Texas Frisco 10th Ward Sacrament Meeting on Sunday, June 12, 2022.
His message was about the reasons he chose to serve a mission for the Lord, foregoing his golf scholarship for now and finding a D-1 school that will hold it until he returns. His desire is to help others have the blessings of the gospel just as he has had his entire life. He mentioned the examples he's had in his own family, including his dad, uncles, his sister, as well as cousins who've, also, served. He is very excited to get to Brazil and serve the people there.
Many family members and friends were in attendance at Sacrament Meeting, with others joining the meeting by Zoom.
This was such a wonderful day of family and friends wishing Elder Copeland well as he serves the Lord for the next two years.
