What's up, everyone back home! Last two weeks have been super busy and flown by. I'll give a quick recap and catch you all up.
This past Sunday we ended the transfer with the baptisms of Àgata and Rafa who we have been teaching for the last few weeks. Ever since the first time we have met them, they have gone every day to seminary and not missed a Sunday. They quickly became a part of the ward family as if they always belonged. Seeing the support at the baptism was cool and definitely something they will always remember.
We also ended the week going to the temple with recent converts. Pedro who got baptized at the beginning of the transfer was there and seeing him in there for the first time was special. The kid is a stud and will one day be an amazing missionary. As soon as we finished up the session, he called his mom to tell her how grateful he is for the church and that she is next up to take the step and be baptized. A kid that is only 16 made this decision alone and in a little over a month has seen his life changed in various ways.
Also, this past Sunday while we were at a leadership training in the stake, to our surprise we saw our recent convert Megui who was baptized two weeks ago. She came up to us all happy saying how she was given a calling and is now in the primary presidency. This is just the beginning because she has so much potential to help a lot of people in the church!
The transfer is over and passed by in no time. I will be staying in the same house but change wards and areas to the one I was in two transfers ago. Not a big change, just a slight adjustment. My new comp is Elder Freidiech from Maringá. He and I have been boys for a while now, so we are pumped to get things going and start working.
Time is going by fast. I'm trying my best to be in the moment and give all I have to this work. This work is super important and I will forever be grateful for the chance I have daily to be a part of it.
